The Catholic Institute of Business and Technology (CIBT) admission requirement for all the courses at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate level has been released for the 2023/2024 academic session.

The management of Catholic Institute of Business and Technology (CIBT) has released the Application Requirement/Registration Requirement for the Student Studying in the institution.

Entry requirements for a Undergraduate degree Programme

Students seeking admission to the Bachelor’s Degree Programme of the Wa Polytechnic must have any of the following:

SSSCE/WASSCE Certificate holders

An aggregate score of 24 or better in both the core and elective subjects.

Transfers

Must be from an accredited institution

Other Applicants

The following qualifications are also acceptable for admission to degree programmes in the Department of Business Administration at the Catholic Institute of Business and Technology

  • Diplomas from a recognized university
  • Post-Secondary Teacher Training College certificate from a recognized institution
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
Matured Students

Candidates applying as Mature Students must be at least twenty five (25) years at least two (2) years’ working experience and/or evidence of any other educational upgrading. Note that all matured students will be invited for an interview.

CATHOLIC INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Entry Requirements (MBA)
  • A good first degree in any discipline with at least 2nd class lower division
  • 3rd class with a minimum of 5 years working experience
  • Other relevant professional qualifications

CATHOLIC INSTITUTE OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

  1. Applicants with similar  qualification or its equivalence (as specified above) can apply for admission  consideration.
  2. International  applicants should have a valid passport.
  3. Should be ready  to acquire a resident permit and abide by the regulations governing the status  of foreigners in Ghana.
