The Management of the University of Namibia, UNAM are no stranger to technology as they have made this application exclusively online unlike the rigorous task of going through the paper-based application (only when necessary). Therefore, they have opened their application portal for all high school leavers and those trying to further their studies either through part- time or full time.

STEPS ON HOW TO APPLY ONLINE FOR UNAM ADMISSION
To use the UNAM online application feature, you must have a working internet device, a valid email address which is not shared with another UNAM applicant, your South African identity number, or, if you are an international applicant, and your passport number. Kindly follow the easy steps below to apply online for UNAM (University of Namibia Online Application) admission:
STEP 1 – Apply Online
- Please apply online via the UNAM Application Portal and hover onto [email protected], and then Online Application (New Students) fields respectively.
- Fill in the Biographical Information as per the fields in the form.
- Always click on the magnifying glass icon for fields marked with a magnifying glass icon to fill the field. Search for the right option and click enter to populate the field – Do not type out the answer.
- To search for an option, enter a few starting characters of your choice after the % sign and click on the search button. E.g. %Silo for Silozi under mother tongue.
- At the LAST YEAR OF SECONDARY SCHOOL field, ensure that the date format is entered in the correct format (YYYYMM).
- Once done filling out the form, click on the SAVE button to proceed.
- The system will issue you with a student number. Please note this number down as this will be your unique reference code with the University of Namibia throughout.
- You’re then required to create a 5 Digits numeric pin code.
- A PIN like 14863 is fine but 12478 or 11258 is not.
- Once you create your PIN successfully, you’ll be re-directed to a portal where you’re required to complete the rest of your application. (E.g. Uploading of documents etc.) Fill in all required fields under the Application tab step by step.
- The documents are uploaded under the Enter School Leaving Subjects tab
- Ensure that you complete all fields as required. Save each page.
- When you are done, kindly click on the ‘Submit‘ button to get your application submitted.

- Grade 10 or Standard 8 School Certificate
- Grade 12 or Standard 10 School Certificate (School of Medicine, School of Phar-macy, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Bachelor of Accounting (Chartered Accountancy), Bachelor of Law (Honours)
- ID or Passport
- Other previous Qualifications
- Proof of 5 years working experience
NORMAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
You are required to upload the following certified PDF documents during the online application process:

POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

- All Masters of Education (Attach Proof of teaching experience)
